Unlike the Article of Theoretical Research, the Article of Empirical Research is characterized by a structure usually fairly well accepted by the community education researchers. We thus find, first, an introduction in which the formula researcher a research problem or research question after having justified the scientific relevance. Then a theoretical framework follows this introduction. It includes four elements:
definition of concepts used in the research question;In a subsequent section, the researcher describes a reproducible methodology, aims to enable it to achieve this goal.
a literature that provide answers or some answers to the research question;
summary of these responses that allows to see the limits and
a specific goal may take the form of a working hypothesis.
This methodology includes items :
- characteristics of successful observations, usually topics humans;
- the selection criteria;
instrumentation; - the conduct;
- data analysis method and
- ethical considerations.
Finally, a conclusion starting with a summary of the research ends Article and proposes future research directions. In the case of a theoretical type of research paper, it does not appear that formalization has been adopted. Yet it would be useful, both for supporting the work evaluation of such articles so that the reproducibility of this type research. In this context, the Review of Educational Sciences has decided adopt certain guidelines with regard to writing a research paper theoretical type. First, a theoretical classification of types of research will be presented and a description of their particularity. Then, we will propose a formalization of the presentation of a theoretical type of research article. Finally, stress the importance of describing the methodology used in research theoretical type.
